Teachers

RHET provide a wide range of free services and classroom resources to support Scottish teachers in delivering reliable, informative and fun topics related to food, farming and the countryside.

RHET’s strength is in its ability to deliver curriculum-linked learning at grass roots level through a network of 500 dedicated volunteers made up of farmers, estate managers and educators.

RHET can organise a free farm visit for your class!

Getting out of the classroom to see where your food comes from can be an excellent form of outdoor educational trip.

Why not have a real farmer visit your class to talk about how they grow the everyday food we eat?

They will bring with them a range of farming props to show you - and we promise they'll clean their welly boots!

RHET have a range of curriculum linked resources for the classroom available FREE to schools.

Visit our Resources page for more information or to order a copy for your school.
RHET runs and participates in a number of local and national projects and events.
