  • Each school group were dressed as their chosen produce - there were tatties, soft fruit, lambs, poultry, pigs, Aberdeen Angus cattle, carrots, game and birds, fish, eggs and dairy.
  • After following Stewarts Melville Pipe Band in to the Ring, bespoke poems were recited from each group and all children danced a routine to The Proclaimers ‘I’m Gonna Be (500 Miles)’ song.
  • RHET Project Co-ordinators were stewards for each group and assisted with rehearsals and costumes.
  • Jimmy Warnock (RHET Chairman) was the driving force and imaginary genius behind this performance and also provided the commentary throughout the event.

Feedback from the Show has once again been very positive. The large variety of fun and educational activities on offer across the Showground were extremely popular amongst both children and adults.
