Angus CI

The Royal Highland Education Trust Angus Countryside Initiative (RHET ACI) was set up in 2002 to take forward the aims of RHET in the Angus area.

RHET ACI works on a local basis to provide curriculum-linked and locally relevant resources and learning opportunities for the young people of Angus.

We can provide and organise trained speakers to talk to school and community groups, fully supported (and risk assessed) visits to working farms and various classroom and teaching resources.

In the last academic year RHET ACI undertook 36 farm visits and provided 65 classroom speakers to local schools and hosted one estate day at Kinnordy Estates (Kirriemuir). We are also involved with Farmhouse Breakfast Week and the Count and Grow project.
