Coronavirus (COVID-19)

A message to everyone we support

We wanted to let you know that our amazing RHET Team and army of volunteers continue to pull together a variety of digital and hands-on resources to keep the food and farming learning going. Although restrictions are easing and we have piloted our key activities to produce new Covid compliant health and safety procedures, our face to face activities are still impacted by local and national cases and restrictions. Our volunteers and project coordinators are working hard to accommodate farm visits and playground talks and in some areas, busy planning projects for the remainder of the academic year.

As ever we're continuing to produce educational activities, from resources, to training, for teachers across Scotland, please check our Teachers section and make sure you have signed up to our Year of Beef update.

We look forward to hosting farm visits and events more regularly really soon, we are all really missing seeing young people out in the working countryside, their visits play an important role in many of our farm volunteers lives.
