All RHET face to face activity to be postponed

After serious consideration, the decision has been made for all RHET face to face activity to be postponed.

This development is in light of the announcement made by the UK Prime Minister on Monday 16th regarding ‘non-essential contact’ which relates to the nature of our work. We also understand a number of schools have restricted engagement with non-essential visitors. Our volunteers give up so much of their time to share their knowledge, their passion and care for the rural, farming and wider industries. We want to ensure we are doing what we can to safeguard individuals as well as those in education at this time of uncertainty.

We are currently working on ideas to bring food and farming education to life, as farmers and growers are as busy as ever, if not more so with the impact they are feeling on their businesses.  Please keep an eye on our social media platforms and check out the resources page where there is an abundance of facts and content for everyone to access, free of charge.

Please stay safe, support local businesses and take care of each other.
