Primary five pupils from Kilmaurs had a great day out on the farm earlier this month where they learned a whole host of fun facts about agriculture.

They headed on a short walk to High Langmuir Farm, avoiding the rain in the process. They were welcomed by the Murrays who gave them a n informative tour of the farm.

Alan, Fiona and Jimmy explained how the farm works, telling the youngsters along the way how milk is produced.

Organised by Elaine Bryson, the RHET Project Coordinator for Ayrshire & Arran, teacher Karen Watson and pupils had a great day out.
