We seek an enthusiastic and flexible individual with a passion for the countryside to work from home on a self-employed basis. The successful candidate will work alongside the already established dedicated volunteer committee, local businesses, organisations and stakeholders, to develop this new initiative which forms part of a national network. The post will cover the Argyll and Bute area, developing opportunities for young people to learn about farming and crofting, food and the working countryside.
The contract is for up to approximately 60 hours a month*. The role is seasonally variable due to school demand. You will organise both in person and digital farm experiences and classroom talks and such it would suit an applicant living in this geographical area. The successful candidate will be a team player, ability to travel, excellent communicators, organised and will work closely with local volunteers and the national network of RHET coordinators.
