We seek an enthusiastic, excellent communicator, organised and flexible individual with a passion for the countryside to work from home on a self-employed basis. They will continue the excellent work currently being undertaken with the support from the local committee, to help young people learn about the countryside, food, farming and their natural heritage.
The contract cover the academic year and will run up to August 2017 with the hope this will be extended for the 2017/18 academic year (approx.480 hrs). The role is seasonably variable due to school demand, with the majority of hours within term time.You will organise farm visits and classroom talks for school groups in the Stirling, Clackmannanshire and Falkirk areas encouraging them to foster an understanding of rural life, Scottish farming today and opportunities for careers in the countryside and agricultural sector.
